Falahe Ummat Girls Degree College was established on 1st Jume 1996 by Falahe Ummat Society. It was the first degree college in Bhadohi district. The society decided to establish the college with a view to providing the facility of higher education to the firls, because more that 95% of the girls dropped out after 12th class. As a result the drop out percentage at present is nill and 100% girls of Bhadohi and the suburbs are graduating from the college. The management has a non-professional attitude and takes care that no girls aspiring for higher education is deprived of it for want of resources.

After getting government"s approval in session 1996-97, The college started with 66 students in academic session 1997-98 The number of students is increasing day by day. At present the college has approximately 1100 students and expecting 1200 in the next session. The reason behind this is that we never compromise with the security of the students, maintaining discipline and quality of education. The management, under the instructions of the university, makes the selections of the qualified and talented lady teachers, We arrange extra classes for completing the courses and better performance.

Out of about 480 college affiliated to VBS Purvanchal University, our college has always been among the top ten(10) from the result point of view since its very inception. The college has been affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi "since academic session 2009-10"

Our main aim is to provide higher education to the girls in a cultured and safe environment which is lacking everywhere now-a-days.
