Falahe Ummat Girls Degree College was established on 1st June 1996 by Falahe Ummat Society. It was the first degree college in Bhadohi district. The society decided to establish the college with a view to providing the facility of higher education to the girls, because more than 95% of the girls dropped out after 12th class. As a results the drop out percentage at present is nill and 100% girls of Bhadohi and the suburbs are graduating from the college. The management has a non-professional attitude and takes care that no girls aspiring for higher education is deprived of it for want of resources. After getting government"s approval in session 1996-97, The college started with 66 students in acagenic session 1997-98 The number of students is increasing day by day.
